Nancy Ospina was born in Bucaramanga, Colombia. Living her childhood in different places was a circumstance that opened her vision of the reality of many communities across Colombia. Throughout her life, Nancy has always been interested in social issues and how they can be represented through images, naturally she was drawn to visual arts.  After completing her Bachelor of Arts degree, Nancy delved even more into the visual art practice, which involved her body, drawing, and community projects. Her artwork is the result of her own life experiences and explorations of social issues. Nancy’s work was featured on the Perimeter Project.
