Angela Walcott is a multi-disciplinary artist who uses a combination of found objects and botanical themes within her artwork. The relevant nature of sustainability fuels her practice and provides her with an outlet to explore waste management via art. Incorporating practical solutions into the mix allows her to create unique pieces within multiple frameworks. She has facilitated classes in upcycling and recycling for adults, youth and children that encourages the reuse and redesign of plastic, paper, and metal into functional household pieces. Angela continues to develop ideas for waste reduction as she creates. She is a current Creative in Residence with Ontario Culture Days. Angela was a Perimeter Project artist.
