PLAY ON THE RUNWAY

For almost 100 years, planes have taken flight on this stretch of land. On June 26, 2022, it was your turn! 

For one afternoon, Northcrest and Canada Lands, together with Bombardier and Councillor James Pasternak, invited the local community and people across Toronto to come play with us, have an ice cream, and to learn about the accessible, inclusive, active neighbourhoods that will be coming here in the decades ahead.

People brought their kids, bikes, dogs, balls, skateboards, rollerblades, and sense of wonder.  Check out the images below and read the full story here.
